Brisbane’s Free Christmas Program For 2014

The Wonder of Christmas 2014Lord Mayor Graham Quirk has unveiled Australia’s largest free Christmas program, The Wonder of Christmas.

Cr Quirk said The Wonder of Christmas would feature the return of The City’s favourite events, along with some new crowd-pleasers at South Bank, including the first-ever Christmas Markets in Stanley Street Plaza and a dive-in Christmas Cinema Series at Streets Beach.

The Regent Re-opens For Visitors

Brisbane Visitor Centre in the Regent TheatreBrisbane’s beloved Regent Theatre has re-opened to the public as the new home of the Brisbane Visitor Information and Booking Centre.

The relocation of the centre – a short distance from its free-standing structure in the Queen Street Mall – to The Regent breathes new life into the historic building.
