The Vampires are quickly becoming an icon on the Australian jazz scene with their unique blend of soulful jazz, old-school reggae and South American music.
Featuring compositions by saxophonist Jeremy Rose (2009 Bell Award Winner for Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year) and trumpeter Nick Garbett, (2010 National Jazz Awards finalist) their powerful melodic invention and use of surprising grooves sets them apart.
Joining them are the powerful and dynamic rhythm section of double bassist Alex Boneham and drummer Alex Masso.
Brisbane-based trio Trichotomy teams up with Stephen Magnusson, one of Australia’s most accomplished musicians.
