The Mouldy Lovers
Rocketing from West End onto the Australian music scene, The Mouldy Lovers are quickly becoming known for a unique brand of wild, energy-driven live performances. With no heed of any particular style, they blend elements of gypsy, ska and punk that drive people off their seats and into the pit.
Featuring a line-up of eight young musicians from varied backgrounds and with distinct euphonic tastes, this one of a kind group are taking Australia by storm and plan to continue their musical invasion with accordions, horns, guitars and drumsticks in hand.
The Mouldy Lovers are part of Tear It Up: mini festival and “Live! Queensland band culture” at State Library of Queensland until 14 September. Celebrate the soundtrack of our state through live performances, exhibitions and events.
**Please note: to book for this session you need a Second Saturday: Tear it up ticket. This ticket gives you access to every event happening as part of the mini-festival**
Free, bookings required.
