Celebrate Redcliffe Festival 2013

Celebrate Redcliffe Festival will once again bring a fiesta of food & fun to the Peninsula on the weekend of 14 and 15 September. Starting with a ‘meet and greet’ on Saturday at Scarborough with the Offshore Superboat Championship drivers –see their awesome machines up close, as they practice for the following day’s races.

Then in the afternoon, head to the Sunset Fiesta at Redcliffe Parade and Charlish Park to taste, see and experience the cultures of the world! There’ll be dancing in the street with an amazing array of entertainment, as well as delicious food, rides and activities throughout the afternoon and evening.

Sunday will see Redcliffe Parade abuzz both on and off the water, with a street party which includes exciting visual acts, music and bands throughout the day.

Highlights include legendary beat boxer Genesis from Australia’s Got Talent 2012, plus newcomers to the show in 2013, dance crew Swagamama. There’ll also be a variety of markets, kids’ workshops, come and try activities and rides. Don’t miss the Seaside Kitchen complete with cooking demonstrations from renowned local chefs as well as popular TV chef Matt Golinski and footy great Billy Moore. The celebrations along Redcliffe Parade will also feature the re-enactment of Queensland's first European landing on the foreshore, in its 189th anniversary.
