The Citytrain network extends from the centre of Brisbane south to Beenleigh and Robina on the Gold Coast, north to Ferny Grove, Shorncliffe, Caboolture and Gympie, east to Cleveland and west to Ipswich and Rosewood. The Citytrain network covers approximately 300 kilometres of track and includes 140 stations. Queenslanders make an estimated 44.7 million passenger journeys per year with Citytrain, with a daily average of 150,000 journeys.
