Highly Strung is an experienced, professional and sophisticated Brisbane based string quartet that plays for corporate functions, birthday parties, dinner parties or anything that requires a little bit of music to make an event extra special. We also provide wedding music to suit all tastes. Although we are based in Brisbane, we will happily travel to the Gold and Sunshine coasts & all surrounding areas. We charge an extremely competitive rate however, we may require a small transport fee for petrol for any bookings outside Greater Brisbane. We have a huge amount of repertoire & not only perform classic string quartet repertoire but many popular, jazz, latin, rock & modern covers. We also offer string quartet with double bass for larger events, corporate functions or if you want the additional richness in sound a double bass provides. For weddings we also work with a guest female vocalist if you want a special touch for your ceremony.
