Brisbane Buses
The Our Brisbane portal has a great section on Brisbane buses and the Queensland Government site's official bus section fills in any gaps quite nicely.
Buses run 24/7 in Brisbane and if you're travelling around the CBD there's even a free tourist loop bus service which skirts the city.
Other points to note about bus travel in Brisbane include:
- If your ticket gets damaged from neglect you won't get a refund, so look after it.
- Bike racks are only available in limited services
- More than half of Council’s 807 buses now have low floors to enable easier access for disabled passengers
- Special 'Nightlink' late night buses run throughout the inner city on Friday and Saturday nights in the following suburbs: Algester, Bracken Ridge, Carindale, Cleveland, Eight Mile Plains, Ferny Grove, Forest Lake, Inala, Loganholme, New Farm, Paddington, Sandgate, St Lucia, The Gap, Upper Mount Gravatt, West End and Wynnum.
