Things to Do in Brisbane

Apart from all the normal things you'd expect to be able to to do in a city with a million plus people, Brisbane has plenty of unique activities to keep you interested.

At the top of the list is the Southbank area, with its man-made beaches and lagoons, giant TV screens, markets and museums; The two botanic gardens are a must see; there's plenty of shopping to be done in the Queen Street mall and Fortitude Valley ('The Valley') is home to some of the best nightlife and band culture in the country where you can check out Powderfinger, Pete Murray or Black Market Rhythm Co. on their home turf.
